HP Deskjet 1050 3 in 1 printer review (Print/Scan/Copy)

HP Deskjet 1050 3 in 1 printer (Print/Scan/Copy)
Cheap and nasty! Do not buy!!

Here's a review about a cheapie HP Deskjet 1050 3 in 1 Printer.. only cost about AUD $39.. uses HP 61 series ink which is cheap.. cost about $40 for both black and colour ink...

what else can go wrong? Many!!!

For one, this printer DOES NOT PRINT! Everytime when trying to print.. it will say "printing" but never prints anything!

Why would HP make a printer that DOES NOT PRINT?

A research on the internet says that HP printer has many problems in Windows 7! How True!!

Most probably driver issues, Anyway I managed to get my new HP printer to print 1 page... so I thought I have solved the problem... but no.. the printer refuses to print the next day!!

So I have owned the printer for 1 week, driver installed properly (managed to get it print once) and printer does not print anymore! Piece of crap!!

Positive points:

  • Cheap refill inks (HP 61)
  • 3 in 1 function

Negative points

  • Driver issues with windows 7
  • Does not print!!
  • Does not support 2 page printing

  1. This is a very informative! Thank you for sharing this. It’s absolutely true that cheap printers really have some disadvantages. I personally don’t suggest going for 3-in-1 printers, because if one system goes wrong, the others will definitely be affected. Buying individually is still the best option. It’s best to read some reviews first before buying a new printer. Honestly, there are lots of new printers that have been released with promising features at a decent price.
