Garmin Nuvi 2350

Garmin Nuvi 2350

Here we have the Garmin Nuvi 2350, which recently Garmin has released. So let's have a look at what this new model has to offer.

I am going to write this review with the view that the reader has used a previous GPS before.

New menu items:

On first look, the main menu seems different, there are 2 additional buttons "Stop" & "detour", you can easily add in more waypoint by touching these buttons.

There is also a new "Trip Planner" function which can is quite handy. easy to use!

There is also a restore button which is quite handy when you need it.

New improved features:
Speed limit can be adjusted now. As you drive along some route, you will notice that some speed limit are inacurrate, the speed limit can be adjusted by just pressing on the touch screen!

Improved booting up. faster booting time, take less than 1 min now.

This model supports Junction View! - Cool feature!

This GPS supports "quick release" now. The power is plugged into the GPS holder, and the GPS connects to GPS holder via a series of contacts underneath the GPS. Cool feature!

The usual features:
Has ecoroute(tm) helps you save the environment, does mileage reports and tells you how much fuel you have used.
Supports GTM-25 traffic receiver

Any issues:
The only issue I have here is that the Speed camera/ Red Light Camera/School Zone warnings are hard to find and needs to be purchased here e: (seems like a rip off to me!) why offer a GPS and map but no Speed camera/ Red Light Camera/School Zone warnings. Tomtom or other brands has it preloaded!

Special offers:
Bonus Australia Life Time map update! Valid 1 Aug 2011 to 31 Jan 2012!
